JuvédermTM
JuvédermTM is a soft, replenishing injectable gel made from hyaluronic acid; a substance
naturally found in your body. It works by giving volume to your skin to reduce and minimize the appearance
of wrinkles and folds. Best of all, the results are immediate and natural looking!
Injections are done under a local or topical anesthetic to ensure patient comfort. There is no need for
any pre-testing because JuvédermTM is of non-animal origin. All injections are performed
by our qualified medical staff.
Preparing for JuvédermTM
It is recommended to avoid the use of Advil or ASA one week prior to treatment. Always consult with your physician before stopping any medications. After the procedure some people may experience some temporary bruising and/or swelling. These reactions usually subside within a few days. The effects of JuvédermTM usually last for up to 9-12 months. Some clients will choose to top up after their first injection a little sooner to help prolong the effects and to build a stronger base. Used in combination with Botox®, you will receive a non-surgical facelift that can take years off your appearance.
A small amount of JuvedermTM can increase your lips while maintaining a 'natural look'. During your consultation and treatment, you can determine how much or how little you increase the size of your lips
JuvedermTM can also be used to reduce smile lines around the mouth.
JuvedermTM is commonly used to reduce 'smoker's" lines around the mouth and upper
lip.
